First, the improvement of contrast

Contrast is one of the key factors that affect the visual effect. Generally speaking, the higher the contrast, the clearer the image and the more vivid the colors. High contrast is of great help to the sharpness, detail and gray level of the image. In some black and white contrast text and video displays, high-contrast led displays have advantages in black and white contrast, sharpness, and integrity. Contrast has a greater impact on the display effect of dynamic video. Because the light and dark transitions in dynamic images are faster, the higher the contrast, the easier it is for human eyes to distinguish such a conversion process.

 

Two main methods to improve display contrast

1. Increase the brightness of the LED display. In some cases, the brightness of the LED display is not as high as possible. For example, if the indoor display is too bright, it can cause light pollution and damage the eyesight of the observer.

 

2. The reduction of the surface reflectance of the full-color LED display is mainly a special process of the LED panel and the LED light-emitting tube, which reduces the LED panel reflectance, thereby improving the contrast of the LED display. The NX series LED full-color high-end display with a dot pitch of 4mm has been improved from 950: 1 to 4000: 1 in the original process, which has greatly improved the product's key index of contrast.

 

Third, the gray level

The gray level refers to the number of brightness levels that can be distinguished from the darkest to the brightest in the single-primary brightness of a full-color LED display. The higher the gray level of the LED display, the richer the color and the brighter the color; otherwise, the display Single color, simple change. Increasing the gray level can greatly enhance the color depth, which makes the display level of the image color increase geometrically. The LED gray level control level is 14bit ~ 16bit, which makes the high-level display products' image level resolution details and display effects reach the world advanced level. With the development of hardware technology, LED gray levels will continue to develop to higher control accuracy.
